Faux Pinwheels
Pinwheels are really in right now- so decided it was time to give them a try-
Supplies needed-
Pattern paper- any size square- using summer smooches dsp
boho blossom punch- matching card stock
1 1/4 circle punch
sticky stripe, snail adhesive
paper piercer
paper snips
brad
lollipop stick
Simply scored scoring tool with diagonal plate
Here I have a 3 in square- use the diagonal scoring tool- score at 0 on both sides
Here I also scored a 2 1/2 in square-
Now use paper snips and cut on diagonal - stop about 1/2 inch before the middle point
On each right side triangle corner add snail adhesive
Bring right side up and 1/8 past the middle- bring up all four sides
Punch a boho blossom flower to add to the middle- attach with snail
Punch with paper piecer to attach brad- will hold pinwheel together
Now to attach your lollipop stick- I use sticky stripe
Add sticky stripe to your stick
Punch out a 1 1/4 cricle in matching cardstock- add sticky stripe- I found this holds the best
Attach stick to back side of faux pinwheel
Attache the 1 1/4 circle to finish the back side of the pinwheel-
Now you are ready to attach to your project!!!
I attached my pinwheel to a gift bag- What a fun summer birthday package!!!
The pinwheel on the gift card holder I attached with a brad to the belly band- no sticky stripe needed!!!
So go give the pinwheels a try- They also make great Bouquets- Have a Great week!!!
Come back on Tuesday July 3 for a Great Pinwheel Bouquet for Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge!!!
Happy Stamping, Diane

2. Emboss a piece of Pretty in Pink (100459) card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots (117335) Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Add a scallop border using the new Adorning Accents Edgelit Die (125595) and the Big Shot (113439). Adhere to the front of the card.
3. Cut a piece of Twitterpated (125412) Designer Fabric using the Scallop Square (115950) Bigz Clear Die and the Big Shot. This will be the skirt for the “dress.” Fan-fold the fabric and staple on end.
